December 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Mesuji Regency was 1.78 percent.

Abstract

In December 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Mesuji Regency of 1.78 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 111.14.
Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 2.61 percent; clothing and footwear group by 3.15 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.15 percent; health group by 0.48 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.04 percent; education group by 8.95 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 1.54 percent; and personal care and other services group by 3.66 percent. Furthermore, there were three groups that experienced y-on-y deflation, namely the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.18 percent; transportation group by 0.38 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group by 0.83 percent.
