October 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Mesuji Regency was 2.83 percent.

Abstract

In October 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Mesuji Regency of 2.83 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.69.

Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 4.93 percent; clothing and footwear group by 3.14 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.48 percent; health group by 5.01 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.04 percent; education group by 8.95 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 3.27 percent; and personal care and other services group by 4.30 percent. Furthermore, there were three groups that experienced y-on-y deflation, namely the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.45 percent; transportation group by 0.67 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.83 percent.

In October 2024, there was month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation of 0.48. Meanwhile, the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Mesuji Regency in October 2024 was 1.36 percent.
