Lampung’s GRDP Growth Rate in Q2-2024 was 4.80 Percent (y-on-y)

Abstract

The economy of Lampung Province in the second quarter of 2024, as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached Rp124,690.61 billion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp72,361.11 billion.

The economy of Lampung Province in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter of 2024 (q-to-q) grew by 9.71 percent. From the production side, the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries sector experienced the highest growth of 33.57 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Government Consumption Expenditure component (PK-P) experienced the highest growth of 17.31 percent.

The economy of Lampung Province in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the second quarter of 2023 (y-on-y) grew by 4.80 percent. From the production side, the sector with the highest growth was Transportation and Warehousing, which grew by 15.19 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Export of Goods and Services component experienced the highest growth of 14.20 percent.

The economy of Lampung Province in the first half of 2024 compared to the first half of 2023 (c-to-c) grew by 4.08 percent. From the production side, the highest growth occurred in the Transportation and Warehousing sector, which grew by 13.37 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households Consumption Expenditure component (PK-LNPRT), which grew by 16.27 percent.
