Abstract

In July 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Mesuji Regency will be 1.73 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.44.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index in eight expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.68 percent; clothing and footwear group at 3.57 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 2.15 percent; health group at 5.93 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 2.02 percent; education group at 0.22 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 6.45 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.61 percent. Furthermore, three groups experienced y-o-y deflation, namely: equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group at 1.06 percent; transportation group at 0.79 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 1.07 percent.

In July, Mesuji Regency experienced month to month (m-to-m) deflation of 0.28 percent and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate of 1.14 percent.
