Abstract

The percentage of poor people in March 2023 was 11.11 percent, decreasing 0.33 percentage points compared to September 2022 and decreasing 0.46 percentage points compared to March 2022.

The number of poor people (people with per capita expenditure below the Poverty Line) in March 2023 was 970.67 thousand people, this condition is better than the condition in September 2022 which reached 995.59 thousand, a decrease of 24.92 thousand people. The number of poor people decreased by 31.74 thousand people compared to March 2022 of 1002.41 thousand people.

The Poverty Line in March 2023 was recorded at IDR 559,011,- per capita per month with the composition of the Poverty Line for Urban areas of IDR 610,614,- per capita per month and the Non-Food Poverty Line for Rural areas of IDR 534,575,- per capita per month .
