Average Grain Price (GKP) in Farmers July 2019 increased to 14.81 percent

Abstract

During July 2019, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 48 observations. Observation was dominated by the Grain Dry Harvest (GKP) quality group.

The highest grain price at the farm level reaches Rp. 5,200.00 per kg in grain quality of GKP with Ciherang Varieties found in Ambarawa District, Pringsewu Regency. The lowest grain price reaches Rp. 4,000.00 per kg in GKP quality grain with 42 Inpari varieties found in Trimurjo District, Central Lampung Regency. This price is higher with the Government Purchase Price (HPP), which is Rp. 3,700.00 per kg.

At the mill level, the highest grain price is Rp. 5,250.00 per kg in grain quality of GKP with Ciherang variety is found in the District of Ambarawa, Pringsewu Regency, while the lowest grain price of the GKP quality group is Rp. 4,075.00 per kg with Inpari 42 varieties found in Trimurjo District, Central Lampung Regency. The price is above the HPP, which is Rp. 3,750.00 per kg.

Grain prices at the farm level rose in July. The increase was due to the passing of the main harvest season. The increase in the average price of the GKP quality group at the farm level was 14.81 percent from Rp. 3,927.50 per kg to Rp. 4,509.26 per kg. With the same quality group, grain prices at the grinding level increased by 13.63 percent from Rp. 4,047.50 per kg to Rp. 4,599.07 per kg.
