Average Price of Grain (GKP) in Farmers Increases 6.33 Percent

Abstract

During May 2021, the grain producer price survey recorded 47 observations. Observations were dominated by the quality of the dry-harvested grain (GKP) group.

The highest price of grain at the farm level reached Rp. 4,350.00 per kg on GKP quality grain with Inpari32 variety found in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. While the lowest grain price reached Rp. 3,400.00 per kg on GKP quality grain with Emerging Varieties found in Sragi and Palas Districts, South Lampung Regency. This price is below the Government Purchase Price (HPP), which is Rp. 4,200.00 per kg.

At the milling level, the highest price of grain is Rp. 4,470.00 per kg on GKP quality grain with Inpari32 variety found in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. While the lowest price of grain in the GKP quality group is Rp. 3,500.00 per kg with Emerging Varieties found in Palas and Sragi Districts, South Lampung Regency. The price is below the HPP, which is Rp. 4,250.00 per kg.
