The Average Price of Grain at the farmer level in August 2018 increases to 6.95 percent

Abstract

During August 2018, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 48 observations. Observations were dominated by the quality grain group of Dry Harvested Rice (GKP). There was no quality group of unhulled rice (GKG).

The highest grain prices at the farmer level reach Rp. 5,500.00 per kg in the grain quality of GKP with Ciherang variety found in Trimurjo District, Central Lampung Regency. The lowest grain price reaches Rp. 4,000.00 per kg in the grain quality of GKP with Ciherang variety found in Gading Rejo Subdistrict, Pringsewu Regency. The price is above the Government Purchase Price (HPP) which is Rp. 3,700.00 per kg.

At the milling level, the highest grain price is Rp. 5,650.00 per kg in the grain quality of GKP with Ciherang variety found in Trimurjo District, Central Lampung Regency, while the lowest grain price in the GKP quality group was Rp. 4,050.00 per kg with Ciherang variety found in Gading Rejo District, Pringsewu Regency. The price is above the HPP, which is Rp. 3,750.00 per kg.

The price of grain at the farmer level rose in August. The average increase in the group price of the GKP quality at the farm level was 6.95 percent from Rp. 4,485.42 per kg to Rp. 4,796.96 per kg. With the same quality group, the price of grain at the milling rate increased by 6.80 percent from Rp. 4,578.44 per kg to Rp. 4,889.78 per kg.
