Lampung's Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Quarter IV-2010 fell 8.67 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). The decline occurred in five sectors with the largest decline occurring in the Agriculture sector at 20.24 percent.
When compared with the same quarter in 2009 (y on y) Lampung's GRDP grew by 6.95 percent, where all sectors except the Mining/Excavation sector grew positively and the highest was in the Transportation/Communication sector which grew 19.27 percent.
Cumulatively, Lampung's economic growth up to Quarter IV 2010 (c to c) or 2010 compared to 2009 was 5.75 percent.
The size of Lampung's GRDP based on current prices in Quarter IV-2010 was IDR 27.03 trillion, so the cumulative up to Quarter IV-2010 reached IDR 107.28 trillion.
From the expenditure side, negative GDP growth in the fourth quarter of 2010 (q to q) was mainly due to a decrease in Net Exports of 16.63 percent.
When viewed from the fourth quarter of 2009 (y on y), the main components driving growth were PMTB, Net Exports and Households. Likewise, if viewed cumulatively (c to c) these three components experienced quite significant growth.
Sumatra's economic growth in the fourth quarter of 2010 was recorded at -0.02 percent. "Y-on-y" was 6.37 percent and cumulatively (c-to-c) was 5.49 percent.
