Abstract

Lampung Province NTP February 2009 for each subsector was recorded at 108.57 for the Rice & Secondary Crops Subsector (NTP-P), 95.55 for the Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H), 104.33 for the People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTP-Pr ), 104.01 for the Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) and 115.18 for the Fisheries Subsector (NTP-Pi). Meanwhile, the Provincial/Combined NTP was recorded at 105.29, which was an increase of 3.51 percent compared to the previous month, namely 101.72.

The increase in NTP of 3.51 percent occurred due to an increase in the index received by farmers by 4.33 percent, while the index paid by farmers increased by 0.79 percent. The commodities that triggered an increase in the index received by Lampung Province farmers in February 2009 were particularly cocoa beans, cassava, grain, shrimp, goldfish and beef.

If the NTP per subsector in February 2009 is compared with January 2009, it can be seen that four of the five NTP subsectors have increased, namely the rice and secondary crops subsector (6.18%), horticultural crops (1.86%), livestock (1.17%). ), and smallholder plantation crops (0.71%). Meanwhile, one other subsector, namely the fisheries subsector, experienced a decline of 0.45%.

Of the 32 provinces reported in February 2009, 22 provinces experienced an increase in the index and 10 provinces experienced a decrease in the index. The highest increase in NTP in February 2009 occurred in Lampung Province, namely 3.51 percent, due to the increase in prices received by farmers in the sub-sectors of rice and secondary crops, horticulture, livestock and smallholder plantation crops. Meanwhile, the largest decline in NTP occurred in Bali Province, namely a decrease of 1.16 percent, due to the decline in prices received by farmers in the five existing subsectors.

In February 2009, inflation occurred in rural areas in Lampung Province of 1.08 percent due to a high increase in the price index in four expenditure groups, namely: foodstuffs (1.23%), ready-made food (1.04%), clothing (7 .21%), and education, recreation, and sports (0.21%). Meanwhile, three other groups experienced a decline in the index, namely housing (0.33%), health (0.61%), and transportation and communication (3.02%)
