Tuesday, March 15, 2022, the KSA Rice Tile Survey was carried out in Wonosari Village, East Mesuji District. Tile this time was different from usual, apart from being supervised by Zulkifli, S.ST., MM as the Head of the Central Statistics Agency for Mesuji Regency, but directly witnessed by the Head of the Lampung Province TPH Agriculture Service as well as Acting Assistant II for Economics and Development of Lampung Province, Ir. . Kusnardi, M.Agr.Ec., Head of Mesuji Agriculture Office, Pariman, SP., M.M., and also Head of Food Crops Division of Mesuji Regency Agriculture Office, Halwan Istianto, SP., M.Sc. The joint tiling is carried out as a form of real synergy between the agriculture office and BPS towards one quality agricultural data.
Rice tiling carried out by BPS is used as the basis for calculating food crop productivity data. Tiling is carried out on sample plots located in plots that are observed every month in KSA activities with a size of 2.5 x 2.5 m2, which previously used random numbers to dot. The results are then weighed in the form of harvested dry grain. This survey is carried out routinely in every subround with the officers being partners from BPS Kabupaten Mesuji.
Based on information from the head of the local Gapoktan, Gito, the variety planted by farmers is the type of rice Kebo alias Inpari 32 which is ready to be harvested. From the results of this tile measurement, the results obtained are 4.82 kg of harvested dry grain. The results of the rice tiles will be used in calculating rice production figures in Mesuji Regency, and even become national figures.
