Harvest Area and Rice Production in Lampung Province 2022 (Provisional Figures)

Abstract

The rice harvested area in 2022 is estimated at 516.91 thousand hectares, an increase of 27.34 thousand hectares or 5.58 percent compared to the rice harvested area in 2021 which is 489.57 thousand hectares.

Rice production in 2022 is estimated at 2.66 million tons GKG, an increase of 175.91 thousand tons GKG or 7.08 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which is around 2.49 million tons GKG.

Rice production in 2022 for the population's food consumption is estimated to be around 1.53 million tons, an increase of 101.12 thousand tons or 7.08 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which was 1.43 million tons.
