Average Grain Prices in Farmers Down 7.75 Percent

Abstract

During March 2020, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 47 observations. Observation was dominated by the quality of unhusked paddy grain (GKP).

The highest grain price at the farm level reaches Rp. 5,600.00 per kg in GKP quality grain with Appearing Varieties is found in Sragi District, South Lampung Regency. The lowest grain prices reach Rp. 4,600.00 per kg in GKP quality grain with Ciherang variety is located in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. The price is higher with the Government Purchase Price (HPP) of Rp. 3,700.00 per kg.

At the mill level, the highest grain price is Rp. 5,700.00 per kg in GKP quality grain with Appearing Variables is found in Sragi District, South Lampung Regency, while the lowest grain price for GKP quality group is Rp. 4,750.00 per kg with Ciherang Variety found in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. The price is above the HPP of Rp. 3,750.00 per kg.
