Abstract

July 2018, CPI Combined Lampung index decreased from 135.18 in June 2018 to 135.12 in July 2018, thus deflation occurred by 0.05 percent.

Based on the July to July 2018 (point to point) inflation rate of 2.23 percent and year on year inflation (yoy) in July 2018 was 2.85 percent.

From seven expenditure groups, six groups experienced inflation, ie foodstuff category experienced inflation (up by 0.57 percent); education, recreation and sports group 0.26 percent; clothing group 0.16 percent; food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco 0.11 percent; health group 0.10 percent; and housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.06 percent. Conversely, the transportation, communication and financial services group experienced deflation of 1.64 percent.
