The average price of grain at the farm level in March 2018 decreased by 7.21 percent

Abstract

During March 2018, the Rice Producer Price Survey recorded 48 observations. Observation is dominated by the grain of harvested Grain of Harvest (GKP). There is no grain quality of dry unhusked grain (GKG) and low quality.

The highest price of grain at the farm level reaches Rp. 6.100,00 per kg on GKP quality grain with Ciherang Variety is located in Palas districts, South Lampung District. The lowest price of grain reaches Rp. 4.500,00 per kg on the quality of GKP grain is Bogor Pb Varieties located in Seputih Raman districts, Central Lampung Regency. The price is above the Government Purchase Price (HPP) of Rp. 3,700.00 per kg.

At the grinding level, the highest grain price is Rp. 6,100.00 per kg of GKP quality grain is found in Palas districts, South Lampung Regency, while the lowest price of GKP is Rp. 4,500.00 per kg with Bogor Pb Varieties is located in Seputih Raman districts, Central Lampung Regency. The price is above the HPP is Rp. 3,750.00 per kg.

The price of unhulled rice at the farm level dropped in March. The average decrease in GKP quality group price at the farm level was 7.21 percent from Rp. 5,850.00 per kg to Rp. 5,428.13 per kg. With the same quality group, the price of grain at the milling rate dropped by 6.45 percent from Rp. 5,923.30 per kg to Rp. 5,541,46 per kg.
