The balance of foreign trade of Lampung Province in August had a surplus of US$203.29 million

Abstract

The total export value of Lampung Province in August 2017 reached US$375.42 million, an increase of US$69.58 million or 22.75 percent compared to exports in July 2017 which were recorded at US$305.84 million. Compared to August 2016, exports in August 2017 were recorded at US$270.64 million, an increase of US$104.78 million or an increase of 38.72 percent.
The import value of Lampung Province in August 2017 reached US$172.13 million, a decrease of US$88.19 million or down 33.88 percent compared to July 2017 which was recorded at US$260.32 million. The import value in August 2017 was US$110.91 million lower or down 39.19 percent compared to August 2016 which was recorded at US$283.03 million.
The export value of Lampung Province in August 2017 was higher than imports in August 2017, which means that Lampung Province's foreign trade balance in July experienced a surplus, namely US$203.29 million.
