Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung during September 2016 reached 54.09%, up 5.37 points compared to August 2016 which was recorded at 48.72%. ROR for star hotels in September 2016 compared to September 2015 which was recorded at 42.96%, an increase of 11.13 points. The ROR for other accommodation in September 2016 was recorded at 37.02%, an increase of 2.18 points compared to August 2016 which was recorded at 34.84%.  The number of guests during September 2016 who stayed at star hotels and other accommodation (combined) reached 93,013 people, consisting of 722 foreign guests and 92,291 domestic guests. This condition has increased by 1,330 people (1.45%) compared to August 2016 which was recorded at 91,682 people. The number of guests by hotel type at star hotels during September 2016 was 11,896 people, consisting of 419 foreign guests and 11,477 domestic guests. This number increased by 2,188 people (22.54%) compared to August 2016 which was recorded at 9,708 people. Meanwhile, the number of guests during September 2016 who stayed in other accommodation was 81,117 people, consisting of 303 foreign guests and 80,814 domestic guests, a decrease of 858 people or around 1.05% compared to August 2016 which was recorded at 81,974 people.  The average length of stay for guests in September 2016 at star hotels was recorded at 1.82 days, an increase of 0.12 days compared to August 2016, with details of foreign guests 4.39 days and domestic guests 1.73 days. Meanwhile, the average length of stay at hotels/other accommodation during September 2016 was recorded at 1.32 days, an increase of 0.07 days compared to the previous month, with details of foreign guests 5.31 days and domestic guests 1.31 days.
