Abstract

The working population in February 2016 was 3,854.8 thousand people, an increase of 219.6 thousand people compared to the situation in August 2015 and a decrease of 66.4 thousand people compared to the situation a year ago.

In relative terms, Lampung's unemployment rate showed a decline from 5.14 percent in August 2015 to 4.54 percent in February 2016. When compared with February 2015 (3.44 percent), the unemployment rate rose 1.11 points. The increase can be seen from the number of job seekers (open unemployed) of 44 thousand people or an increase of 31.53 percent over the last year.
