Sectoral Statistics Forum Group Discussion (FGD)

Wednesday, November 13, 2024, BPS Mesuji Regency held a Sectoral Statistics Forum Group Discussion (FGD) at the Tabek Oy Hall, which was opened directly by the Acting Regional Secretary of Mesuji Regency, Wahyu Arswendo Umbara. In his remarks, the Regional Secretary emphasized the importance of this event to improve the quality of sectoral statistical data that will be used in development planning and evaluation in Mesuji Regency.

In addition to in-depth discussions on the management and utilization of sectoral data, this event also gave awards to several OPDs that had played an active role in the assessment of EPSS (Evaluation of Sectoral Statistics Implementation) in 2023 and 2024. The awards were given to the Agriculture Service (2023 & 2024), BPKAD (2023), and the Health Service (2024).

As a follow-up step, this event also initiated One OPD, One Metadata, where each OPD is expected to compile and submit metadata related to the sectoral data they manage. This aims to create a more structured, integrated, and reliable One Data Indonesia to support development policies based on accurate and up-to-date data.
