Mesuji Regency Inflation Control Meeting in September 2024

On September 11 2024, the Head of BPS Mesuji Regency, Zulkifli, S.ST., M.M attended the Mesuji Regency Regional Inflation Control Team Meeting which took place in the hall of the Regional Secretary (Ja'o) of the Mesuji Regency Regional Government. The event was opened directly by the Regional Secretary, Wahyu Arswendo Umbara, S.STP., M.H. This meeting aims to discuss steps to control inflation in Mesuji Regency.

At this meeting, the Regional Secretary of Mesuji Regency, namely Wahyu Arswendo Umbara, S.STP..M.H. emphasized that we as OPD involved in controlling inflation in Mesuji Regency need to confirm in detail the programs that will be implemented to control inflation. He emphasized that every program, for example social assistance, must be properly received by those in need. The provision of social assistance must not contain elements of political tendencies and resistance.

Head of BPS Mesuji Regency Zulkifli, S.ST., M.M also explained that the conditions in September were one of the determining points in the inflation rate in the following months. The condition of the CPI value in September 2023 has decreased, so if we get a small CPI in September 2024 this will narrow the gap between the CPI value for September 2024 and September 2023. This will of course make the Mesuji YoY inflation value smaller.
