The Mesuji Regency Central Statistics Agency will carry out a 2024 Construction Cost Survey

The existence of regional autonomy is expected to be able to overcome the problem of financial balance between regions in Indonesia. The balancing fund needed in implementing regional autonomy is the General Allocation Fund (DAU). One of the components used to calculate DAU is the Construction Cost Index (IKK) which is obtained from the Construction Cost Price Survey (SHKK), which is conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in all districts/cities in Indonesia. This survey is conducted four times a year, namely in July, October, January and April. Data collected includes prices for building/construction materials, rental prices for heavy construction equipment, and wages for construction services.

In April 2024, the enumeration will be carried out on April 22 2024 to May 3 2024. Respondents enumerated are wholesalers, manufacturers, retail traders, Public Works Department or other SKPD, heavy equipment rental services and contractors/contractors selected purposively. There are three types of questionnaires used, namely VHKK2024.MNPL (Natural Materials and Advanced Products), VHKK2024.MP (Manufactured Materials), and VHKK2024.SAU (Heavy Equipment Rental and Construction Services Wages). The number of samples in Mesuji Regency is 15 samples, including 6 samples for natural materials, 8 samples for manufactured materials, and 1 sample for heavy equipment rental and construction services, namely the Public Works Department. Data collection was carried out by direct interviews with respondents. Supervision and inspection are carried out during the census so that the data collected is in accordance with the specified specifications.
