Price Reconciliation Ahead of the Release of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for March 2024

As a means of supporting preparations for the release of the Official Statistical News (BRS) on the Development of the Consumer Price Index for March 2024, BPS Lampung Province held a price reconciliation activity which was attended by all Regency/City BPS which are the CPI coverage areas. This activity was carried out online via zoom meeting (22/03/2024).

Price reconciliation activities led by Young Expert Statistics, Bayu Juniardi, S.E. This is intended to determine and confirm data and price change phenomena that will occur in March 2024 at the consumer price level. Each person responsible for the Consumer Price Survey (SHK) at the Regency/City BPS can explain if there are differences in the direction of consumer price developments in this activity.

It is important to carry out this price reconciliation activity every month before the release of the BRS Consumer Price Index Development so that the data produced is of higher quality and in accordance with the phenomena that occurred during the price enumeration period. .
