Data friends, today is commemorated as National Statistics Day. Every September 26, all statisticians in Indonesia, make HSN a momentum to continue to ignite the spirit of contributing to the nation and state through the provision and development of statistics.

The 2023 HSN commemoration takes the theme "Quality Statistics for Advanced Indonesia". This theme illustrates that quality statistics are important in determining the direction of Indonesia's development, especially in realizing the Vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

As a data provider institution in Indonesia, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) certainly makes National Statistics Day to strengthen its role as a provider of quality statistics as well as a statistical data coach. The use of BPS data needs to be further expanded. BPS also plays a role in providing insights in improving development policies, as well as supporting the formulation of policies based on evidence and accurate data (evidence-based policy).
